AI Statement
Last updated June 9, 2026
A plain account of where Piczel uses AI, and the lines we will not cross with your work.
1. Your photographs are yours
We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we never will. Not ours, not anyone else's. Your images belong to you and your clients, full stop, and that does not change because a feature would be easier to build otherwise.
2. Where we use AI
We may use AI to make the product easier to use, for example smart cropping for thumbnails, tagging to help you find images in a large library, or drafting suggested copy that you review before it goes anywhere. These features assist you; they do not replace your judgement, and nothing AI-generated is published under your name without you approving it.
3. Your clients' images
We do not run facial recognition or any AI analysis across your client galleries on our own initiative. Where a feature analyzes images (for example, search or tagging), it works for you, inside your account, on your instruction.
4. Always optional and transparent
AI-assisted features are clearly labelled and, where they touch your content, are something you choose to use. You can ignore them and run your whole business on Piczel without them.
5. Human support
When you contact support, you reach real people, not a bot pretending to be one. We use AI to help our team work faster, never to stand between you and a human.
6. No surprises
If we ever add an AI feature that processes your content in a new way, we will explain it plainly, keep it under your control, and update this statement before it ships.
